Vinyasa

Derived from Ashtanga yoga, expect a class full of rhythmical flow connecting each moment with unifying pranayama (breath).

Classes can be more meditative or focused on the natural movement of the body, almost like dancing through postures. This class is a great transition when you're looking for more of a challenge.

Heated Vinyasa

Derived from Ashtanga yoga, expect a class full of rhythmical flow connecting each moment with unifying pranayama (breath) with room temps over 90 degrees.

Classes can be more meditative or focused on the natural movement of the body, almost like dancing through postures. This class is great when you're looking for more of a challenge.

PiYo

PiYo combines the strength training—and body lengthening—aspects of Pilates with the core training and stretching elements of yoga to create an entirely new workout experience.

It's low impact and adaptable to all ages and fitness levels. Unlike traditional Pilates and yoga sessions, PiYo is set up like a cardio class, designed to burn calories and make you sweat!

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga focuses on passive asanas with breathwork and meditation to create a very deep, integrated, and satisfying practice. Complementary to active Vinyasa, Yin Yoga targets the deep, dense connective tissues of the body -- the tendons, ligaments, and cartilage -- which are difficult to energize and open. Yin postures focus on the hips, pelvis, lower back, and knees, helping the body remain supple at its core.

Class includes gentle flow and longer holds of specific Yin postures. Suitable for anyone interested in taking his or her practice to a renewed level of awareness and stillness, both inside and out.

Pilates

Using a floor mat and small props, this class focuses on basic Pilates principles: core strength, increased flexibility, breath control, and correct alignment to improve posture. Every class is different to ensure that the body is challenged in new ways, but simple choreography and clear instruction make this class accessible to both beginners that haven’t exercised in years or people who exercise regularly.

Gentle Yoga

This gentle class will guide you through body opening poses to strengthen and stretch the body relieving stress and decreasing tension. Moving at a slower pace and holding stretches will allow you to relax your mind and body. Suggestions for modification are given throughout the class. Whether you are recovering from an injury, pregnant, or simply like a gentler practice this class will leave you relaxed, content, and ready for the rest of your week!

Ashtanga:

The Eight Limbs of Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga is a systematically designed series of postures that flow with awareness to Ujjayi breath, the bandhas ( energetic engagements), and the Drishti ( focus) in every asana.

Wisdom and spirituality through yoga unfold in the same way a tree grows. A forest has many varieties of trees with a myriad of colors and shapes, but they all have the same goal... to grow toward the Light. The eight limbs of yoga all have the same purpose: to grow toward the Light. This class is an introduction to the primary series of ashtanga. No previous experience is necessary.
